Ben Luc – Long Thanh expressway is a national key project, belongs to North – South expressway axis which Vietnam Expressway Corporation (VEC) is an investor.

Road connecting to Phuoc An port through Long Tho commune and Phuoc An commune, belong to Nhon Trach district, was designed urban road type III, with a length of about 11km, the design speed of 60 km/h, 2 lanes, the first point connecting with Tran Phu Street (road 319), through the intersection with Ben Luc – Long Thanh expressway, through the logistic zone and ends at gate of Phuoc An port.

On 14th April 2013, at Hai Phong city, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung issued an order to start the construction of the Hai Phong International Gateway Port.

According to electronic communication portal of Ministry of Planning & Investment (MBI), MBI has submitted the plan “Restructuring the economy associates with growth paradigm shift towards enhancement of efficiency, productivity, competitiveness of the economy in the period 2011 – 2015 and orientation till 2020” to National Assembly Standing Committee.
